Service your filter: Clean or backwash your filter so it can handle the added debris load.
Stock up on shock and algaecide: Post-storm chemistry recovery requires having the right products on hand immediately.
Check your skimmer baskets: Make sure they are clean and free of cracks so they can capture debris effectively.
Trim nearby vegetation: Overhanging branches and loose leaves add significantly to storm debris.

During a Storm
