How Pool Automation Works

This pool automation system will allow you to manage nearly every aspect of your pool’s operation with scheduled or manual start and stop times.

What the Pool Automation Systems Includes

The IntelliCenter system allows you to control various equipment and functions using your smartphone.

This includes:

Pool

You can turn the pool filter, pump, and heater on or off manually or set a schedule for when these should run. There are also multiple options for programming the speed and flow of the pump. You can also set the pool water temperature and even pre-heat the pool before you plan to swim.

Spa

Turning your spa pump, heater, or jets on is easier with this system. Like your pool, you can choose the ideal temperature for the ultimate comfort and convenience.

Water Features

Your pool’s water features, such as fountains, can be connected to the IntelliCenter so you can turn them on or off with the touch of a button. You can customize features, lights, and pool temperature all together so everything is exactly the way you would like it. This is great if you are having a party or relaxing with your family.

Pool Lights

With our pool automation system, you won’t need to fumble around in the dark to turn your pool lights on. You can activate individual lights or groups of lights. If you are using IntelliBrite light-emitting diode (LED) lights, you can even control the color and create preset light shows to entertain your family and guests. There are some light shows that are already programmed into the system. These include Romance, Party, Royalty, Caribbean, Sunset, and others.

Pool Chemistry

Maintaining proper water chemistry is one of the most important maintenance tasks to keep your pool or spa clean and safe for use. When you install this automation system, keeping each chemical at the proper level is simple. The IntelliChem system monitors pH and sanitizer levels then automatically adds more when necessary. This means you don’t need to handle the harsh chemicals yourself and can save money on upkeep costs because the system only uses the amount of compounds that are necessary.

Although Pentair’s system can control so many aspects of your pool and spa, it is simple to learn how to use. When we build a new pool using this feature, you will receive a user’s manual as well as guidance from us on how to make sure it is operating properly.
